Video: Obama calling Kanye a jackass

In the previous post, we had audio of President Obama calling Kanye West a jackass during an off the record statement. This is further proof that the environment was indeed a relaxed one. Let's cut the president some slack indeed. Still priceless though.

That's right, the world's favourite American has given his two cents on the Kanye West VMA rant where he embarrassed 19-year-old Taylor Swift. Check the audio below.

What has Kanye West done? Can Mr. West come back from this? His chances ain't lookin' good at all. To be fair to

President Obama, this should never have been released, not just because it was an off the record statement, but also

because he was clearly in a relaxed environment - not a professional one. I hope that people don't take this too seriously

and start jumping on his back.

Attempts to discredit President Obama's citizenship described as 'hilarious'

Roland Martin, you are the man! I tried, but I could not have better described the persons disseminating a plethora of invalid claims about President Obama's citizenship.

While I was deciding whether to call them ignorant, brainwashed, or just plain daft; Martin, like the seasoned journalist that he is, showed how to keep things concise by simply calling them "nut-jobs" and "losers".

It's people in videos like the one above that give the USA a bad name. Martin described the woman's behavior as "hilarious" and said "To watch others cheer her insanity, and then boo the congressman who says the president is an American, shows you that we have a serious problem with mental illness in this country."

As for the soldier who requested a restraining order so that he wasn't deployed, I think he has contradicted himself with his actions. With all his patriotism, why isn't he focussing on serving his country? Rather than being political and taking stances against the President, why not do your job, Sir?

If he was wise, he would keep himself out of politics, and instead focus on what his job is supposed to be. Where was this interest in politics, when the previous President was seemingly doing all in his power to run the country into ruins? Why didn't this soldier come out and take a patriotic stance then?

I think I'll stop here, and take Martin's advice and just laugh at it all, or emulate President Obama and just ignore the naysayers.

We all know the photo below has been doctored....

But that doesn't make it less funny does it? Poking fun at Presidents is nothing new, but I thought this was a good attempt, and it is relatively creative and harmless when compared to the derogatory nonsense which has been circulating about Barack Obama (and his family) recently.

Obama drama?

No. Just another frivolous story hyped up by the media, similar to this fly swapping incident.

I thought the photo was worthy of a giggle, but many of the world's major media networks thought differently, making a big thing out of the issue. The Obama fly-swatting incident caused such an uproar that it was hard to believe that the overreaction regarding it could be topped. Judging from the way the media responded to this "event", it seems like I was almost wrong.

PETA criticized the President for his insecticide as though it was a homicide, and the only thing which probably prevented women's rights activists from bashing Obama, was the video below which revealed the inaccuracy of the photo.
